19th century mill to be transformed into firm’s HQ
Huddersfield-based strategic brand consultancy The Engine Room is midway through a £100,000 plus project to transform a 19th century mill and former piggery, into its new HQ.
The company purchased York Mills in January 2017 for £250,000, following a long hunt for the perfect premises. And having secured £20,000 funding from the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership Business Growth Programme, work is now well underway to refurbish the 4,000 sq ft space into a creative hub in the centre of Mirfield.
