The Grand Hotel & Spa in York has revealed a first look at the 100 luxury new hotel rooms it will be opening in early 2018. The development will almost double the number of five-star hotel rooms in York, generating an additional £1.7m of annual visitor expenditure for the local economy. The new accommodation is part of the hotel’s £15m expansion and refurbishment, which this summer saw the opening of The Rise, a Yorkshire tapas-style small plates concept, and the refurbishment and relocation of Hudson’s by Craig Atchinso...
