Work speeds ahead on McLaren’s technology centre
The construction of McLaren’s new bespoke manufacturing unit within the 100-acre Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) in South Yorkshire is gathering pace.
Sheffield-based contractor and developer JF Finnegan’s work on the 75,000 sq ft building for the supercar giant began on site in August with completion due next spring.
McLaren Automotive has committed to spending the next two decades at the AMP after agreeing a deal with land regeneration and property investment specialist, and Waverley masterplanner, Harworth Group.
