International chain swoops for Sheffield hotel

The Rutland Hotel in Sheffield has been sold to international hotel operator Ellerslie for an undisclosed sum. The four-star hotel is located off Broomfield Road in the university area of Sheffield and provides 63 en suite bedrooms, alongside extensive food and beverage facilities. The hotel has been marketed openly at an asking price of £2.65m. Ellerslie has acquired the hotel from Claypenny Hotels.
