Yorkshire firm gets the go ahead for mixed-use scheme
A Yorkshire property development firm has secured planning permission for a major mixed-use scheme next to Sherwood Forest.
Developer Harworth Group has secured planning permission for a large mixed-use redevelopment of the former Thoresby Colliery in Nottinghamshire.
The 450-acre site, next to the historic Sherwood Forest, will provide up to 800 new homes and 250,000 sq ft of employment space. It will create around 500 jobs.
