Construction company says cheers to Heineken contract

Yorkshire construction company Harris has started on site to deliver a £1.1 m contract for Europe's biggest brewer Heineken UK. The contract will see the firm create a super-strong structure that will support six giant fermenting vessels, which are amongst the largest in the world, at its Manchester brewery on Denmark Road. The work is due to complete in November 2017.  The supporting structure will comprise 160 tonnes of steel and each of the six fermenting vessels at the brewery can hold around 450,000 litres during the brew...
