Henry Boot upbeat with 82% revenue rise

Construction firm Henry Boot is in bullish mood this morning after posting an 82% revenue rise for the first half of the year. Revenue in the six months to June 30 increased by 82% to £195.4m, up from £107.3m in the prior year period, driven by higher levels of activity across all business segments as it said property development activity continued to benefit from several active schemes, in particular at Aberdeen, York and Markham Vale.
