Ground broken on multi-million pound university sports centre
A ground breaking ceremony for a multi-million pound sports development at the University of Hull has taken place.
The ceremony marks the beginning of work on a new sports centre at the Cottingham Road university, part of a £16m upgrade in facilities.
Professor Glenn Burgess, acting vice-chancellor at the University of Hull, was joined by representatives of contractor Henry Boot, including managing director Simon Carr and project manager Steve Foster.
