Construction firm wins £155m student village build

Vinci has won the contract to build the £155m student accommodation complex for the University of Hull. The main contractor was confirmed by developer University Partnerships Programme this week, Construction Enquirer reported. The scheme comprises nine accommodation blocks alongside an urban green and avenue featuring a café, convenience store, laundry facilities and formal and informal outdoor areas.
