£70m Merrion House re-development officially opened
The new home of Leeds City Council - the new Merrion House which has undergone a £70m re-development - has been officially opened, where it was announced that £27m council cost savings will be achieved over 25 years.
Town Centre Securities (TCS), Leeds City Council and BAM Construction held an event to mark the opening of the ten-story building, which is jointly owned by leading Leeds-based property investment and car parking operator TCS and Leeds City Council.
