Sheffield United chairman “open to proposals” for the club

SHEFFIELD UNITED chairman Kevin McCabe has conceded that the club has had some "dark days" and would be open to proposals from "level-headed" businessmen.

The club was relegated from the Premier League in 2007. Mr McCabe said they had spent "far too long" in League One.

The long standing chairman and businessman behind the Scarborough Group, said fans had a right to expect more, but there was much being done behind the scenes to improve the lot of Sheffield United.
