Two leading experts will share their overviews and opinions of the York and North Yorkshire commercial property market and provide updates on key developments at TheBusinessDesk.com’s property lunch in two weeks.
Nick Moody is a founding partner of Harrogate-based property development firm Newby, a firm which focuses on a range of regeneration projects and names the Cocoa West and Ryedale House schemes among those it is currently leading on.
Jonathan Shires is senior director of office agency for leading real estate firm CBRE. He has been instrumental in securing major relocations and new operations for a host of major organisations, notably Hiscox’s pioneering £19m offices in the Hungate area of York.
The event, which includes a welcome drink and two-course lunch, will be held at The Principal in York from noon until 3pm and is sponsored by Together Money.
The duo will talk about their involvement in schemes, the opportunities and challenges of working in the North Yorkshire property market, their predications for the future and driving forces behind changes that York’s property sector is experiencing.
Covering topics such as office availability and regeneration in a historic city, this afternoon will give an insightful update and overview of this niche marketplace.
Moody, who has more than 25-years’ experience in the property industry and provides deal origination, funding and corporate strategy, will update delegates about current schemes of major scale.
Moody’s expertise spans land and property acquisitions, property and development finance, property renovation, property build, as well as residential and commercial rental and sales.
Shires has worked in the Yorkshire region for over 23 years, instructing on some of the region’s most high-profile office developments.
