Refurb of council’s HQ completes

A revamp of the ground floor of Derby City Council’s headquarters has completed. Work carried out by Wates Construction took place in six phases and now enables the council to centralise a range of services in one location. It now houses The Department for Work and Pension’s Derby Jobcentre Plus, a redesigned reception as well as new interview rooms and a fully accessible meeting room, as well as the new Riverside Library.
