New innovation business catapults into Derby

The Energy Systems Catapult (ESC), part of a network of world-leading centres set up by the government to transform the UK’s capability for innovation, has expanded its presence with the launch of a new office in Derby. Since launching in 2015, the ESC’s Birmingham Innovation Hub has grown quickly to over 150 staff - driving the decision to open a new East Midlands Hub.
