New boutique hotel for Leicester city centre

A new boutique hotel is set to open in Leicester near to the site of the car park where Richard III's remains were discovered. Construction company Stepnell has secured a contract to build the £1.8m St Martins Lodge for the Dioecse of Leicester. It will see two empty buildings in Peacock Lane and New Street converted into a 28-bedroom hotel. St Martins Lodge is expected to be completed in summer 2018.
