“High-level” operators vie to run Derby ice rink
Some of the UK’s most experienced leisure operators have shown interest operating the Derby Ice Rink which is scheduled to be constructed in the Becketwell area of the city, according to Derby City Council
The Europe-wide search for an operator closed on Monday.
The City Council says all the companies bidding are from the UK and each has experience in ice as well as a wide range of other leisure facilities across the country.
The companies are a mixture of public sector, trusts, and private sector.
