Plans revealed to demolish city centre restaurant for mixed-use scheme
Plans have been submitted to Nottingham City Council to demolish a restaurant building in the city centre and replace it with a mixed-used development led by student housing.
The plans, submitted by Grace Machin on behalf on a private individual, show a five-storey building including retail on the ground floor and a 49-bed student accommodation scheme on floors 1-5.
The former New Ocean Restaurant will be demolished if the plans are approved.
