Housebuilding giant targets East Mids growth

Persimmon, the housebuilder which recently opened a Mansfield office creating 50 jobs, has posted "excellent" results for the six months to the end of June. Profits before tax at the firm rose by 30% to £457.4m, while revenues increased by 12% to £1.66bn.
