Plans have been submitted to Nottingham City Council to turn a disused boiler room in the city centre into a music studio. Severns Investments, which is run by Mark and Adam Cavell, wants to open up the basement in Newland House on Mount Street, which is rented out by Severns Rental Agency as student accommodation, into a 1,600 sq ft recording studio. Mark Cavell is also a director as Mabec, which bought the 60,000 sq ft Newland House, which were formerly used as offices by energy company Eon. Mabec hit the headlines in 2015....
