Plans for 175 Nottinghamshire homes rejected

A revised plan for a housing estate in the Nottinghamshire village of Ruddington have been rejected by the local council after over 600 people objected. Space Foods Limited wanted to build 175 homes off Asher Lane in Ruddington as part of the Council's plans to build 250 new homes in the village, but the plans were rejected by Rushcliffe Borough Council because the development was on Green Belt land and traffic concerns and noise pollution from a nearby kennels not being taken into account.
