Jobseekers spend £146 getting ready for a job interview – but then fail to prepare

British jobseekers are spending £1.44bn every year in the hope of bagging their dream job, but the majority are failing to prepare for the actual interview. 

According to totaljobs, jobseekers are spending on average £146 per interview - forking out on a haircut, a new outfit, makeup, transport, CV writing assistance new shoes and even body language coaching.
