Losses widen by $5m at WANdisco as bookings drop

WANdisco, the Sheffield and California big data specialist, has seen losses widen due to lower revenue, fewer bookings and increased overheads in the first half of the year. The listed company this morning announced its interim unaudited results for the six months ended 30 June 2018. Pre-tax losses for the period increased to $11.3m from $6.3m. Total bookings for the first half of 2018 reduced to $9m from $10.2m. Big Data and Cloud bookings stood at $6.2m, down from $7m. Revenue for the period was $5.7m, down from  $9.6m.Â...
