Train operator unveils new £60m Hitachi fleet
Construction work on the first shell of Hull Trains’ £60m Hitachi fleet has been completed.
Scheduled to run from December 2019, the new trains form part of a multi-million pound investment Hull Trains is making to improve its services.
The train operator will replace its current fleet of Class 180s with five new intercity Class 802 trains, financed by Angel Trains.
