Midland Main Line electrification could be ‘back on track’

Electrification of the Midland Main Line - which runs from London St Pancras and Sheffield - could be back on track, according to the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce. The Transport Select Committee, chaired by Nottingham South MP Lilian Greenwood, has published a report saying it should be recategorised as ‘pending’, rather than cancelled.
