Plans to re-open historic railway station near Knaresborough revealed
The company behind plans for a major development at Flaxby in North Yorkshire is proposing to reopen Goldsborough Railway Station as a new park and ride station.
The submitted planning application to transform Flaxby’s disused golf course into a new sustainable village community, known as Flaxby Park, includes 2,750 homes along with a retirement village, two primary schools, a GP surgery, sports facilities and a new village centre.
