Region urged to get its act together over devolution
"Devolution is happening around us and we need to get our act together," Leeds Chamber president, Paula Dillon, told members at the organisation's annual dinner last night.
And on the evening of Burns Night, it was former First Minister of Scotland, Alex Salmond, who delivered the keynote speech. He said that Yorkshire was suffering from a lack of significant capital investment that a devolution deal had would bring.
