Government acquires Royal Armouries hospitality and events division

The catering and events division of the Royal Armouries in Leeds, called RAI, has been sold to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) for £11.2m. The move will benefit the Royal Armouries museum and help further support culture in the city.
