Traffic Alert: M1 closed due to overturned lorry
The M1 in West Yorkshire is closed southbound between J48 and J45 near Leeds due to an overturned lorry. Police, Air Ambulance and Highways England Traffic Officers are on scene.
In addition, due to debris from the lorry which collided with vehicles on the opposite carriageway, the northbound has been closed between J45 and J46.
Traffic is being diverted and if travelling southbound drivers should continue travelling south down the A1(M) until J42.
