£1.2bn lakes project gets the go ahead
Work is set to begin work on the first lake of £1.2bn Lincolnshire Lakes project in early 2018 after plans were given the green light by North Lincolnshire Council.
Clugston Construction, part of the privately-owned Clugston Group of companies, have been given the go ahead for the project on land north of Burringham Road, Ashby Parkland in Scunthorpe. The first lake will provide opportunities for non-motorised sport, physical activity and recreation, and be able to host local, national and international triathlon events.
