Work underway to complete Gigabit city status for York

Work is underway on the second phase of York’s ultra fibre optic city-wide broadband network, which will give the city gigabit status. The work by TalkTalk will mean that nearly 55,000 homes and business across York will access the faster full fibre broadband over the next two years, with speeds of 1 gigabit (1,000 Mbps).
