New £9m facility will double operations at electrical firm

A Wakefield manufacturer and distributor of electrical equipment has doubled the size of its operations with the building of a new facility, creating 144 local jobs. OE Electrics has opened OE House - a £9m 66,000 sq ft facility  custom built for the firm at Calder Park. The project received £500,000 of funding from the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership’s (LEP) Business Growth Programme. It also received a LEP Loan of £1m from the Growing Places Fund which has enabled the company to build the facility to a high energy...
