Leeds city centre restaurant operator fined for hygiene failings
An operator of a Leeds city centre restaurant has been handed a fine of more than £700 after pleading guilty to a number of food hygiene offences.
Officers from Leeds City Council’s environmental health team carried out an inspection of Bar Red on Queen Square and found a trio of contraventions of food safety.
These included failure to protect food from possible contamination, failure to keep the premises clean and in good repair, and failure to keep items of equipment clean.
