Leeds city centre restaurant operator fined for hygiene failings

An operator of a Leeds city centre restaurant has been handed a fine of more than £700 after pleading guilty to a number of food hygiene offences. Officers from Leeds City Council’s environmental health team carried out an inspection of Bar Red on Queen Square and found a trio of contraventions of food safety.
