M&S Foodhall launch creates 57 jobs

Fifty seven jobs have been created with the launch of an M&S Foodhall at a South Yorkshire retail park.

The retailer opened the doors to its 9,000 sq ft store today at Cortonwood Retail Park in Barnsley.

Paul Nicoll has been with M&S for 30 years and has taken on the role of the new store manager.

He said: “Today’s opening has been a great success and we are delighted to welcome our new shoppers into the store for the first time. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and their positive comments today have made all the hard work preparing for opening day worthwhile.”
