Opening date for flood-hit Grade II listed bridge announced
A Grade II-listed bridge over the River Wharfe which connects Linton and Collingham is to re-open next month after major repair works following damage caused by Storm Eva in 2015.
Linton Bridge, which was built in the early to mid-19th century and suffered major damage to its foundations during the floods, will reopen on September 2.
Working with Historic England and the Environment Agency, Leeds City Council carried out a major repair programme at a cost of £5.1m fully funded by the Department for Transport (DfT).
