Engineering firm secures contract to improve access to city hospital

Building and civil engineering company Britcon has won a £280,000 contract to improve main entrance access to Sheffield’s Northern General Hospital. Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Trust has appointed the civils team at Britcon to widen access on Barnsley Road from two to three lanes and improve pedestrian facilities including lighting and bus stops.
