Bacon business shuts down West Yorkshire factory
Difficult trading conditions have forced a Damika-owned bacon factory in Huddersfield to close its doors this week.
Meat processing firm British Bacon Supplies is closing its doors in the town tomorrow, Friday 30 June.
The Queens Mill Trading Estate site was "unable to operate at sustainable efficiency levels" according to trade publication Just-Food, following added pressure after the group’s Halifax factory was flooded last year.
