Jobs created as events venue undergoes major refurbishment
An events venue is undergoing a major refurbishment and creating jobs following a six-figure investment as it begins a fresh chapter under new ownership.
David Cooper has acquired a majority shareholding in Bertie’s in Elland, joining existing owner and executive chef director Jon Nichols.
Cooper, the former owner of Huddersfield-based Cooper’s Coffee, will take on the role of commercial director to drive the business forward, with investments into refurbishments, staff and services over the next six months.
