Recruiter expands with acquisition of consumer specialist

Consumer recruiter Vitae Selection has been snapped up by rival Leeds executive search business Hudson James Human Capital. The deal, for an undisclosed sum, will see Hudson James double turnover and headcount, growing to a team of 22. The acquisition of “boutique” agency Vitae, established in 2008, will create one of the “largest consumer recruiters in the North.” Andrew Osbaldeston, managing director of Vitae Selection, joins Hudson James Human Capital as co-owner.
