Acquisition deal sees new owners for pub
A pub in Barnsley, The Crown Inn, is under new ownership following a bank-backed acquisition deal.
Locals Mick and Kath Cobb have acquired the Elsecar pub following the retirement of its previous owners.
Landlady Kath returns to the pub having held the leasehold of the establishment between 1997 and 2001.
The Crown Inn is a traditional British pub, serving a variety of local ales, beers, wines and spirits and wholesome food. It was voted Barnsley CAMRA pub of the year in 2016.
