Yorkshire firms join forces for Japanese rice venture
Two Yorkshire businesses have teamed up to launch a new brand of Japanese-style rice.
SushiSushi, one of the UK’s biggest suppliers of Japanese and Asian food and equipment, and Eurostar Commodities, the supplier of the finest commodities and innovative ingredients, have launched Kuro sushi rice aimed specifically at the European catering market.
The Italian-grown sushi rice will be packaged by Eurostar Commodities at its Huddersfield-based warehouse and shipped across the UK and Europe from SushiSushi’s Barnsley headquarter...
