Historic North Yorkshire hotel to re-open after £1m refurbishment by new owners

A 400 year old North Yorkshire hotel will open its doors this weekend following a £1m refurbishment. The Golden Fleece in Thirsk, which was acquired in October 2015 by the awrd-winning Coaching Inn Group, has been closed for 12 weeks for the refurbishment, which has included a renovation of its restaurant, bar and accommodation. Re-opening this Friday, the hotel will unveil its new eatery and coffee house concept, including a new all-day menu featuring popular sharers and locally-sourced produce.
