Yorkshire beach recognised as a national volleyball hub
Bridlington South Beach has been granted Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) status and recognised as a national hub for GoSpike Beach Volleyball by Volleyball England.
In the past 12 months, more than 3500 people have been engaged in organised and informal beach volleyball, and the success of events such as the Bridlington Beach Open and Volleyball England Beach Tour have shown Bridlington to be a showcase beach to host major events.
