The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), the world’s leading professional marketing body, champion of customer engagement and best practice, is hosting a conference which offers marketers in the Midlands the opportunity to learn and share insights on the future of marketing practice from industry leaders.

Chris Daly, Chief Executive of CIM, will give the keynote speech at the event, which will be held on 14 June at Aston Business School, and will be joined by a selection of influential marketers that will discuss and exchange their ideas with the aim of improving standards and encouraging best-practice across the industry.

The content will include insights from representatives of major brands, sharing what they are doing differently in order to promote success, as well as that all-important question ‘what do we do next?’ There will also be workshops and research sessions, designed to encourage participation and creative thinking.

Speakers include Professor Nic Beach, Chair of British Academy of Management; Professor Katy Mason, BAM vice-chair; Neil Davidson, Managing Partner, Hey Human and Susan Vidler, Head of Research, Harris Interactive.

Workshops will be hosted by Dr Keith Glanfield, Dr Gary Burke and Dr Carola Wolfe from Aston Business School and the day will close with a keynote address from Chris.

It promises to be an exceptional day with something for everyone.  The event will be held at Aston Business School, Birmingham. Registration is from 09:30 and the event starts at 10:00 and finishes at 16:30.
