Brexit, the economy, and how to unlock regional growth is the subject of this year's MacLaren Memorial Lecture, to be delivered by CBI Director-General Carolyn Fairbairn.
In the talk, Carolyn will explore the British economy's future prospects as negotiations on the UK's exit from the EU begin, while taking a closer look at what this could mean for the UK's regions and nations. With a particular focus on the Midlands, she will ask what firms can do to raise productivity and prosperity across the whole UK.
