US engineering firm launches Birmingham office

Bechtel Infrastructure president, Craig Albert, and UK managing director, Paul Gibbs open the new Birmingham office.
US headquartered global engineering, construction, and project management company Bechtel has launched an office in Birmingham city centre. The firm, which employs more than 50,000 people worldwide, says the office on Waterloo Street will serve as a hub for business development allowing the company to expand as it pursues further projects across the region in the highways, rail, power, communications and aviation markets.
