Birmingham retailer expands distribution arm with £300,000 investment
Birmingham furniture retailer Lee Longlands has expanded its distribution operation following a £300,000 investment.
The company, whose flagship store is based in Broad Street, has taken out 23,000 sq ft of warehouse space at a facility in Minworth, increasing its storage capacity by 8,000 sq ft.
The firm said the extra capacity was necessary to enable it to achieve growth targets for next year.
Besides the additional capacity, the new facility features the latest logistics picker technology and will help the company achieve...
