The senior management at Birmingham City Council has suffered another blow after the authority's deputy chief executive announced he is to quit his role. Paul Dransfield's exit comes just four months after the departure of former chief executive Mark Rogers. Mr Dransfield has spent 10 years with the authority and has wide local authority experience after 23 years in the Midlands.
