A Worcestershire carpet manufacturer may prove the saviour of workers facing redundancy from a rival business. Kidderminster-based Brockway Carpets and its new sister business, The Grosvenor Wilton Company, has launched a recruitment campaign aimed at expanding its workforce. The announcement comes after rival producer Brinton revealed it was axing around 60 jobs from its factory in the town as it ends production of its Axminister carpets.
