Care home plan for former Birmingham pub
A care home business is planning to development a new 82-bed facility of the site of a disused Birmingham pub.
MACC Care, based at the Abbey Rose Nursing Home in Orchard Road, Erdington, is proposing to erect the new home on the site of the former Hare & Hounds, off Marsh Hill, also in Erdington.
The pub ceased trading last year after its owners decided it was no longer viable. It has subsequently been purchased by MACC.
