Birmingham Airport considers HS2 terminal to capitalise on high speed network
Birmingham Airport may develop a new terminal inside the proposed HS2 interchange station in a move which could see passengers step off the train and walk directly into the airport.
The proposal is thought to be one of the options under consideration as part of the airport’s 2030 masterplan – which is linked hand in glove with the high speed rail network.
